It's been a few days geez, whats on my mind today? Money. Like always it's money! There never seems to be enough and that is so annoying! I hate it, absolutely hate it! Ugh I start school in less than a month and thank god it's only a 9 month program and hopefully I can start working right away..hopefully. Now it's not what I would totally love to do, but it gets my foot in the door. Yay! So when we go home to California I can go back and do what I actually wanna do. Wondering what that is? Well it isn't really nursing...it's still medical though. I want to be Diagnostic Medical Sonographer..fancy title for ultrasound technician lol it seems from the research I've done like a great job, and it pays well. So win/win right? I think so. Anyway thats my plan, I would have loved to get into that kind of program out here but it's really expensive apparently and it's a two year program, I'm trying to get home sooner than that lol so medical assisting it is, and a few of my friends have done the MA thing and so far love it. It's a great way to get your foot in the door. So I'm gonna go ahead and follow the same path. I'm happy with my decision. Definitely.
Ok so, other than school and worrying about money. Life has been fairly nice here in Katy, TX. We haven't experienced the crazy heat yet but it's gotten pretty hot. It was about 90 the other day and everytime I went outside it literally felt like I was walking into an oven! How much hotter can it get when it feels like i'm already cooking and it's not even May yet? Apparently it can get A LOT hotter. Ugh people keep laughing when we tell them we've never experienced a Texas summer before...not a sign of good things to come thats for sure. OOOH fun fact I just learned from my mom of all people about Houston lol It has an underground shopping center...yeah UNDERGROUND. Why do you ask? Because of the heat lmao OMG apparently it gets so hot people cant shop with the same gusto as normal so they fixed the problem by putting a large portion if the mall underground...whatever works right? Yeah lmao
So i'm watching Kathie Lee and Hoda right now, and they're talking about getting the healthiest options from vending machines...really? Run out of things to talk about there gals?? Lol anyway there's no such thing as a healthy option in the vending machine. If thats your food source I seriously think you need to rethink your life.....seriously.....well I've got a busy morning ahead of me. Cleaning and what not lol I cant wait to have some homework lmao never thought I'd say that! Anyway have a great day void!
